Two women from different generations, with one shared interest: fashion with nothing to hide. We’ve built a transparent supply chain from the ground up and designed clothes that feel as good as they look, timeless pieces made for every age, built to be worn and passed on.

Our Mission

We make clothes that grow old with you. We're committed to plastic-free fashion and sourcing the lowest-impact fabrics we can find. Our promise is to share every component of the pieces we make and to work with the best manufacturers and suppliers we can build relationships with, and bring real care to every piece we produce.

Our purpose is to design garments that last. Classic silhouettes. Clothes built to be worn and shared. We care for the people who wear our clothes as much as the people who make them. We choose every material with intention and produce only what we know we'll sell, and we put the same care into our supply chain as we do into our stitching.

Meet Our Founders

Alex Adamson

Alex co-founded the acclaimed evening wear label The Vampire's Wife in 2015 with Susie Cave. Her style icon is Joan Didion. "I read The Year of Magical Thinking and thought, what an extraordinary woman," Alex says. "There's a photo of her in a long velour dress that sums us up completely. I wanted to wear that dress right there and then, feeling beautiful the whole way through. That's the brand, in one picture."

Tabby Taylor

Tabby started out as a fashion headhunter and moved in-house and worked for a collection of start-up brands. Then discovering the work of Orsola de Castro and Fashion Revolution changed everything. "It blew my mind how little transparency there is in fashion," Tabby says. Her mission is to rewrite fashion's rulebook for the new age making collections which are beautiful and sustainable all at one, at prices that feel more accessible without losing an ounce of style.
